money fixes everything meditation is boring i bought 13 things that made my life 13% more worth living

  1. medium sized underwear

when i was in korea, ian bought medium size underwear for me i didnt realise you can do that; i always bought small because i have a small waist and was afraid if i go against the manufacturer recommendations, i’d buy ones that are too big but ever since, these underwear fit the best of any underwear i’ve ever worn

i prefer to buy underwear specifically that has cotton ribbing; it reduces waistband irritation.

  1. audient id4

i sing now. i love singing. so i needed this audio interface to plug my microphone in, yet still have access to my pc

if you’re getting into music production, or just need a well-built, affordable audio interface, i highly recommend this. everything about it is good

choosing this came after a lot of deliberation and research, travelling far to music shops, being ignored, buying a slightly cheaper one, and it being so shite, i had to return it. and i never return items. but at this price point it seems even £20 will have a huge affect on the quality of a product. my concerns also stemmed around wanting to ensure it doesn’t break or have issues 4 months down the line like my ssd enclosure currently has. this one is also, crucially, very linux compatible. i was scared the blinking lights would be irrititating but they’re fine. and it’s very well built; i even took it to korea so i could produce while there. it’s the perfect starter audio interface; it would be a travesty to go below this.

the sound is transparent and just bassy enough my old device was the ifi audi nano idsd le but you literally have to turn it on & off by the knob, restarting it, when using it on linux because it sometimes won’t work at startup it is nice and bassy, however, which i loved about it and it’s a portable dac/amp, so u can use it with your laptop to drive your expensive hifidelity headphones when you travel, or for me, when i’m dying in the hospital.

i use the emu teak reference audiophile headphone with the removable cable. has lovely bass, decent highs, good mids, but music is all about bass i live for bass. bass bass bass. i love clear high-ended music too. but Lord, bass. i use it with a headphone stand from solid-sounds.co.uk beautifully made and solid. teak coloured

also, if you ever need to adapt a 3.5mm headphone jack to 6.5mm try the t.bone Headphone adapter 1/4" to mini-jack plug-in adapter, 3,5mm female/6,3 male Stereo

there are others on the market that won’t fit because of certain 3.5mm adapter designs, so i’m saving you the headache.

  1. 2M Belkin Braided USB-C to USB A cable (choose the non-fast charge ver. because fast-charging your phone everyday degrades its battery)

really long; you can use it while plugged into the hospital patient service unit, and it’s very strong and robust

I bought 2 of these, one for the audient id4 and one for my phone the original id4 cable was too short to reach my pc

  1. bed linen

my bed linen got an upgrade because the old material wasn’t very thick the new one is a cheap brushed cotton one from tesco

but that change in thickness alone made everything much nice

  1. a 3 watt bulb for my lamp. and i put some brown envelopes around its lampshade to diffuse the light for my bedroom/office/diningroom/gym. it’s all the same room btw

it’s a daylight bulb but the brown envelopes warm the light. it’s comfy but i am concerned my eyes are still being strained. the colour is changing, they’re yellowing near the iris, and the veins are far more prominent than they’ve ever been is it my 12 hour a day computer screen use?

  1. Sachtler aktiv6 tripod head with flowtech75 MS tripod legs when we shot under yearning in korea, i used this tripod. from the first day, it was the best tripod i’ve ever used. the head has a really fast, really easy, quick release, for adjusting the levelling and the flowtech tripod legs is sooo fast and easy to adjust; it’s beautiful

i will say, though, other brands like cartoni and others have similar designs to flowtech, so u can also pick those as alternatives

  1. selling my blackmagic pocket cinema camera 4k and all accompanying batteries and memory cards

at the beginning of my career, i was desperate to shoot with the best camera. arri alexas, sony cine altas, and all the like. now that i’m here, i hate complex cameras; i hate cameras that require elaborate rigging, and i hate cameras that shoot such high quality files that you run through a terabyte in under an hour, forcing you to run a kubernetes cluster just to manage the video files you recorded of birds gesticulating in the leaves. so, inspite of its issues, i went back to my gh4.

  1. pull-up bar do 3 sets of as many pull ups u can manage until failure. my chest is firmer than my cock.

  2. civilized to death by christopher ryan

someone somewhere online recommended it this book provided all the answers to my worldly concerns it was created just for me

every sentence he write stimulates me so much, i’m yet to even 50% of the book

i just looked him up and he did a book on sex lmao what he writes about is everything i write about

actually, his conclusions in civilized to death also broach the topic, which im sure has inspired some of my opinions on sex. i want to say as a people we often regurgitate what others say, but isn’t truth meant to be regurgitated?

  1. letmeprintyourphotos.com

i started this service because i believe printing your photos and enjoying them is a beautiful thing

all these years of my life, where i’ve taken 10s of thousands of photos with expensive high fidelity cameras, but i’d never printed.

so when i was doing print tests, and the different photos came, i held them. the texture of the print stunned me.

it’s absolutely lovely to touch, and the image itself is the closer to the original print than i’ve seen of any service i’ve ever used. so i was shouting in my house; impressed. i encourage you to try it out.

  1. is a good rhyming number
