raw is a codec that captures all the information very dense very big file; your computer is sad but your image is the absolute best in the land

u can capture most of the information dense file medium sized; your computer is content and your image is really nice

long GOP interframe compressed h264 with reasonable bitrate @ say 50Mb, even at 60.000fps, is very doable. just dont expose like a retard be the good cinematographer

so, all the consumers buying up black magic pocket cinema cameras 4k 6k 6k pros are jokers shooting once or twice a year,

this is a camera that only does raw and prores and even at 12:1 compression, that raw is heavy, and theyre using 500GB mac pros

my point being you aint making a movie for the big screen youre not doing mad max of the fury colour grading leave the big boy cameras on the shelf and buy you a long gop king

as a reminder, i only own a blackmagic because theyre the only company to offer 60.000fps cameras and with hindsight, they make the camera with the best menus i did believe i could make the ultimate run ’n’ gun with audio and NDs for the sun rig but i think i was wrong it worked for me but there was a lot going wrong i would have posted it here and given a breakdown AND the hilarious thing was that i spent so much money on the cfast cards, cfast reader, sony npf batteries, cage, filters, minixlr to xlr adapter, and lenses, that it just became a typical expensive cinema camera setup, and there was no free lunches.

panasonic ignored me and didnt open up the framerates on the gh series that was a big mistake their cameras had problems but were the ideal state with minimal additional accessories, bells, whistles, and tripod plates
